Zagreb Summer School

The EuroS@P Summer School in Zagreb brought together the project’s European partnership around Network-Wide Road Safety Assessment (NWRSA). Its teaching resources connect the foundations of road infrastructure safety management with practical road network analysis.

Topics and practical resources

The school’s materials introduce the EuroS@P project and the importance of Road Infrastructure Safety Management (RISM). They also cover network segmentation and provide a practical session on the reactive assessment method.

An exercise dataset contains seven sections of a regional road, with section lengths, traffic volumes, crash counts and injury severity. It also records speed limits, pedestrian crossings and schools, providing a basis for examining the information used in road safety assessment.

Digital mapping files accompany the teaching resources, supporting the connection between assessment data and the road network.
