The Gdańsk school was presented within the EuroS@P Summer School series in connection with 15th International Road Safety Conference GAMBIT 2025 „Three decades of activities for road safety in Poland” the international road safety conference held at Gdańsk University of Technology on May 22–23, 2025.
The conference programme brought together European approaches to Network-Wide Road Safety Assessment. Its infrastructure safety management session included contributions on Italian inspection-based assessment, the German ESN method, Polish experience on regional roads and Croatia’s application of iRAP Star Rating.
Practical learning
On May 23, the programme included a workshop on assessing crash risk across road networks, led by Tomasz Mackun, Wojciech Kustra and Joanna Wachnicka. This provided a practical focus alongside the methodological presentations.
