Final Conference in Gdańsk

August 27, 2026

On August 27, 2026, the EuroS@P-NWRSA final conference took place at the CEI building of Gdańsk University of Technology. The event was held in a hybrid format, bringing together 19 people on site and three joining via Microsoft Teams from Croatia, Germany and Sweden — a total of 22 attendees.

The conference presented the completed project courses, their teaching materials and the e-learning platform through which the resources could be accessed and downloaded. The media library was demonstrated within the individual course presentations as an integral part of the learning resources.

All sessions were delivered in accordance with the programme. Lectures and practical work covered road infrastructure safety management, network segmentation and the assignment of crash records to individual road sections. Further sessions addressed reactive assessment based on crash data and proactive assessment through data collection and risk analysis.

An Excel/QGIS exercise on a selected road demonstrated the integration of reactive and proactive approaches, connecting the methodological content with practical application.

Participants highlighted the need for the project materials and valued their online availability. They also identified the English-only format as a limitation for Polish users. Translating the resources into the languages of the partner countries was discussed as a possible direction for future work, without a formal decision being recorded.

The conference provided an opportunity to present the project results, demonstrate access to the learning resources and gather feedback on their further use.
