March 18-20

On March 18–20, 2025, a working meeting was held at Lund University to discuss current progress and plan the next stages of work.

Key agreements and completed tasks:

• Organization and reporting: Rules for executing tasks and subtasks in the Asana system were implemented, and the progress report was finalized.

• Knowledge base (T.2.6): The compilation of the final list of specialists as part of building the road safety experts knowledge base in RSIM was completed.

• RSIM Methodology (T.2.3): The development of a methodology for implementing a systems approach to RSIM at the strategic, regional, and local levels was discussed. The final review of this document is scheduled for the end of May, and the team is also considering preparing a scientific article in this area.

  Work Package WP3 (NWRSA teaching materials):

• Work is currently underway on the final version of the template for theoretical and practical teaching materials.
• It was agreed that the WP3 course will provide access to the iRAP demonstrator, EU methods, and a custom Excel tool highlighting methodological differences. Additionally, each country will prepare its own methodology.
• The final verification of the distribution of responsibilities for individual tasks among the universities will take place during an online meeting on April 22, 2025.
