Kick-off Meeting
March 18th-20th
From 18 to 20 March 2025, the EuroS@P project team held a three-day working meeting at Lund University to review progress within Work Package 2 (WP2) and begin planning for activities under Work Package 3 (WP3).
During the meeting, the final list of specialists for Task 2.6, focused on building a knowledge base on road safety professionals in the RSIM domain, was completed and integrated into the project framework. New task and subtask organisation rules were introduced in Asana to support clearer task management and coordination. The team also discussed the possibility of developing a scientific publication based on the outcomes of Task 2.3, which aims to establish a methodology for implementing a systems approach to RSIM at strategic, regional, and local levels. Regarding Task 3.2, the team confirmed using the IRAP demonstrator for the WP3 training course.
The consortium also confirmed its participation in the upcoming project meeting on 21 May 2025 and the GAMBIT conference on 22–23 May 2025 (https://wilis.pg.edu.pl/katedra-inzynierii-transportowej/nauka-i-badania/konferencja-gambit). Preparations have also begun for the 2026 Summer School, which will be held in Weimar from 24 to 27 March in parallel with the road safety conference.
The Lund meeting marked a key milestone in finalising essential WP2 tasks and laid the groundwork for the structured development of WP3 deliverables.
