Kick-off Meeting

February 5th-6th

On February 5–6, the EuroS@P project team held an in-person meeting at  Munich to advance the work within Work Package 2 (WP2) and initiate preparations for WP3.

The agenda began with progress updates and coordination, followed by in-depth work on Task 2.4, which focuses on finalizing the methodology for an expert certification programme for Road Safety Professionals. Key topics included the structure of the e-learning platform, implementation of certification levels (RSP Level 1 and Level 2), and the integration of teaching materials into Moodle. The team also addressed localization guidelines, assessment criteria, and certificate issuance procedures.

Further discussions were dedicated to Task 2.5, involving the development of a stakeholder knowledge base for Road Infrastructure Safety Management (RSIM). Partners reviewed the current draft of the deliverable and verified its compliance with project objectives and national contributions.

In addition, Task 2.3, led by Lund University, was reviewed. This task compiles best practices in Network-Wide Road Safety Assessment (NWRSA) from various European countries and serves as a methodological foundation for the educational materials being developed under WP3.

The second day focused on WP3, specifically the planning and development of teaching and training materials. The team discussed thematic areas, structural outlines, and the alignment of didactic content with the certification methodology established in WP2.

This meeting marked a significant step in WP2 and setting a clear path for the implementation of WP3.
